TRANSMEDCON 2023, Chandigarh

Greetings from the City beautiful, Chandigarh.

It gives us immense pleasure to extend a cordial invitation to attend the 11th Annual National Conference of Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine - TRANSMEDCON 2023 to be held at Chandigarh from 3rd – 5th November 2023. The conference is being organized by the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Government Medical College, and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh, India.

The conference is being organized with a central theme of Interact-Innovate-Implement. The scientific program will include a wide spectrum of topics emphasizing the role of transfusion medicine specialist in donor management as well as in clinical transfusion practice. Eminent national and international speakers would be deliberating on current topics and sharing their thoughts and experiences on the technological advances that have taken place in the different domains of the transfusion medicine speciality. This would provide a unique opportunity to the delegates, especially the postgraduate students to listen and interact with experts in our field. The participants are encouraged to submit the abstracts of their scientific work and present it during the conference sessions. There would be ‘Pre-conference Workshops’ where participants will have an excellent opportunity to learn and get a hands-on experience of various techniques and procedures which form an essential element of the transfusion services and interact with the National and International faculty.

In addition to attending the enriching and a thoroughly engaging scientific event, the delegates will also be able to witness the serenity of the City Beautiful – Chandigarh and enjoy the delicacies of north Indian cuisine.
